Laminated Glass
Pennsylvania Insulating Glass now offers laminated glass with short lead times. We primarily are focusing on custom laminated glass using a PVB interlayer in 030, 060, and 090 layers. Why spend the time to cut laminated glass and absorb the waste when you can buy it at a competitive price delivered to your door.

- Asymmetric makeups (ex. 3mm Clr with 060 vinyl over 5mm Clr)
Laminated Glass is used in many situations:
- Hurricane/Impact Rated - Small missle conformance requires laminated glass with a .060 PVB interlayer
- Safety - Laminated glass can be a good substitute for tempered glass by meeting the same building code requirements for safety glass applications per ASTM 16 CFR 1201 CAT II
- Sound - Reduced outside noise in your home or office with laminated glass
- Bomb Blast
- Security - Laminated glass made with a PVB interlayer is generally strong enough to deter a "smash and grab" burglar
- Low-E - Laminating a piece of clear glass to a piece of low emissivity glass improves the energy efficiency of a window or door
